River City Advocacy stands in the belief that people need communities of support nearly as much as standard necessities of life. Not only do we have a natural and biological desire for closeness and understanding, but we should all acknowledge that life is hard and doing it alone is an unrealistic goal. When we go through “big T” and “little t” traumas, having someone to speak to can help us overcome the overwhelming feelings.
We are happy to offer a variety of community events and support groups. Support groups are available Monday through Thursday weekly.
River City Advocacy Support groups are a no-cost way to foster community and invest in our emotional health. Join us for our weekly, bi-weekly and monthly support groups!
