Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

Youth Mental Health First Aid training teaches adult volunteers how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among youth and adolescents, ages 12-18. Using a blended format, participating adults must complete a two-hour, self-paced online course before attending this instructor-led video conference. During the live session, you will be given a lunch break & other breaks throughout the scheduled time.

You will receive an email from MHFA Connect within 3 to 5 business days after registering for the course. If you do not receive anything after 5 business days, please reach out to training@gsiowa.org.

This is an adult event for Girl Scout members only.
