AFSP Volunteer 101: Virtual Event

Join us for an AFSP 101 Orientation hosted by AFSP's Chapter Leadership Council to find out how to get involved with the fight to stop suicide.

Chapter Leadership Council Hosts:

  • Josie Jesse, AFSP Utah Chapter

  • Winter Brooks, AFSP Virginia Chapter

AFSP is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. AFSP creates a culture that's smart about mental health by engaging in the following core strategies:

  • Funding scientific research

  • Educating the public about mental health and suicide prevention

  • Advocating for public policies in mental health and suicide prevention

  • Supporting survivors of suicide loss and those affected by suicide

This training is for individuals interested in volunteering for AFSP. Volunteer positions are not guaranteed. Each attendee will be asked to complete a volunteer application that will be submitted to their local chapter for review. A link to the volunteer application will be sent via a post-event email.

Virtual Event: Zoom Information will be sent 1-2 days before the event.
