Let’s Talk About it: Military Sexual Trauma Survivors

Our Let’s Talk About It events serve as the peer support complement to each month’s educational EmpowerEd seminar. This month, VSN Peer Leader, Rosa Kline, will provide participants with a space to process what they learned in this month’s EmpowerED session on supporting survivors of Military Sexual Trauma (MST, and to discuss other available resources and supports for survivors of MST, and how this topic impacts their lives and families. Participants are encouraged to attend the EmpowerED and peer support events, but it is not required.

Learning Objectives

  1. Understand the prevalence and effects of MST

  2. Discuss how MST impacts your life and family

  3. Identify ways to support MST survivors
