Poetry As A Tool For Wellness

Our peer-facilitated groups are offered to our members and to the general public to assist in developing strategies, unity, and support as you are on your journey to recovery.

Common topics discussed include Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), coping skills, recovery tools and models, boundaries, and listening as others share their lived experiences. Groups provided are listed as General Support, WRAP, Wednesday Funday, Tai Chi, SHAC Flick, and Hooked on Yarn which all happen every week and at least 4-16 times per month.

  • Talk openly and honestly about your feelings

  • Reduce feelings of distress, depression, anxiety

  • Connect with people who can support you

  • Create a sense of community
