In Celebration of Mental Health Awarenes Month
Secret Butterfly Journey: Exploring Mental Health & Grief

Come join us for a transformative event at Ground Floor Theatre where we will delve into the depths of mental health and grief in a safe and supportive environment.

Leading up to the debut of her short film (SECRET BUTTERFLY), a filmmaker/activist will join a panel of mental health advocates and artists to discuss grief, its impact on the Black and Brown community, and the stories we tell.

This in-person experience promises to be enlightening and empowering with spoken word performances and interactive activities to allow space for grounding + reflection.

Oftentimes in communities of color, it’s frowned upon to discuss your feelings and safe spaces don’t always exist to express yourself. Our hope for this event is to provide a safe space for community members to engage and learn about the resources available to support their mental well-being and grief from a loss.

Discover new perspectives, connect and engage with others, and embark on a journey of healing and growth. Don't miss out!
