Join the AFSP National Capital Area Chapter (NCAC) for this community-based presentation that covers the general scope of suicide, the research on prevention, and what people can to do fight suicide.
Suicide can be prevented. Talk Saves Lives is an introductory presentation on mental health and suicide prevention, including the most up-to-date suicide data and research, and what can be done to fight this leading cause of death. Participants will learn the common risk factors for suicide, how to spot the warning signs in others, and how to keep ourselves, our loved ones, and those in our community safe.
*Must be 18 years of age or older to attend this presentation.
