Texas Together: It's Real College Students and Mental Health

“Mental health issues are a very real and growing problem among college students. We want to make sure that those struggling know they are not alone. There are many resources available to help them, and we at J.B. Hunt are supporting efforts to make suicide awareness education more prevalent on campuses across the country." — Stuart Scott, executive vice president and chief information officer, J.B. Hunt

It’s Real: College Students and Mental Health is an AFSP-produced documentary featuring the stories of six college students from across the country. It reveals depression and other mental health conditions as they are commonly experienced by young adults, and shows how students can seek help for these conditions and successfully manage them. The film will be followed by a discussion of how to access help, what to expect after accessing help, and how to show support after a crisis.
